Our History

From One Table to a Full Fleet

TrueNorth EventSquad was founded in 2013 by Marcus and Claire Beaumont, a husband-and-wife team who had spent years in the hospitality industry and saw a gap in the Winnipeg market: there were no high-quality, professionally-run casino entertainment providers who could match the visual standards that corporate clients demanded.

We started modestly — a single roulette wheel, two blackjack tables, and a trio of friends who knew how to deal cards and make people laugh. Our first event was a 60-person corporate Christmas party at a downtown hotel. The feedback was so strong that we had three referral bookings by the following Monday.

Over the next decade, we grew our fleet to include 24 full-size casino tables, expanded our staffing roster to over 30 trained dealers and event coordinators, and built a client list that spans Fortune 500 companies, luxury wedding venues, charitable foundations, and private estates across Manitoba and Western Canada.

Today, TrueNorth EventSquad is the first call event planners make when they want to add genuine casino entertainment to a gathering — and we take that trust seriously with every event we touch.
