These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the website located at truenortheventsquad.com (the "Website") and any services provided by TrueNorth EventSquad ("we," "us," or "our"), located at 92 Malmsbury Ave, Winnipeg, MB R2N 2V1, Canada. By accessing our Website or engaging our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Nature of Services

TrueNorth EventSquad provides casino-themed entertainment prop hire services, including but not limited to the provision of gaming tables (roulette, blackjack, poker, craps), casino props, décor, and professional dealer staff for private events, corporate gatherings, weddings, and charity galas.

No Real Money Gambling: All gaming activities facilitated by TrueNorth EventSquad are strictly for entertainment purposes only. No real currency is wagered, won, or paid out at any event we operate. All chips and play money used at our events have no monetary value whatsoever. Our services comply fully with the Criminal Code of Canada and Manitoba Gaming Control Act.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years of age to access this Website and to book our services. By using this Website, you represent and warrant that you meet this age requirement. We reserve the right to request proof of age at any time.

3. Booking and Service Agreements

All bookings are subject to a separate Service Agreement signed at time of confirmation. The following terms apply to all bookings:

• A non-refundable deposit of 30% of the total quoted fee is required to confirm and hold a booking date.
• The remaining balance is due no later than 7 calendar days prior to the event date.
• Bookings are confirmed only upon receipt of the signed Service Agreement and the required deposit.
• We reserve the right to decline bookings at our sole discretion.

4. Cancellation and Rescheduling

• More than 30 days before the event: Full deposit refund.
• 14–30 days before the event: 50% deposit refund.
• Fewer than 14 days before the event: Deposit is forfeited in full.
• Rescheduling: One rescheduling request, submitted no fewer than 14 days before the original event date, will be accommodated without penalty, subject to availability.
• Force Majeure: In cases of cancellation due to circumstances beyond either party's reasonable control (including but not limited to severe weather events, venue closures, or government-ordered restrictions), we will work with the client to reschedule at no additional cost.

5. Client Responsibilities

The client is responsible for:

• Ensuring the event venue has adequate floor space, lighting, and power supply as advised during the consultation process.
• Providing TrueNorth EventSquad staff with access to the venue at least 2 hours prior to the event start time for setup.
• Ensuring that all guests participating in casino entertainment are 18 years of age or older.
• Maintaining a safe and respectful environment for all TrueNorth EventSquad staff throughout the event.
• Any damage to equipment caused by guests beyond normal wear, which may result in additional charges as assessed by TrueNorth EventSquad.

6. Liability and Insurance

TrueNorth EventSquad carries $5,000,000 in commercial general liability insurance. A certificate of insurance is provided with all bookings upon request. TrueNorth EventSquad's liability is limited to the total value of the contracted service fee in all circumstances. We are not liable for any indirect, consequential, or special damages arising from the use of our services.

7. Intellectual Property

All content on this Website, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, images, and software, is the property of TrueNorth EventSquad and is protected by applicable Canadian copyright and intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our express written consent.

8. Website Use

You agree not to use this Website for any unlawful purpose or in any way that could damage, disable, or impair the Website. You may not attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Website or its related systems.

9. Privacy

Your use of this Website is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. Please review our Privacy Policy to understand our practices.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Manitoba and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Manitoba.
